Ati HD5450 with latest drivers

Hi there

I have been using The Ati HD5450 For all of my sagetv viewing for the past week.
Since installing this card I have had lots of random system crashes where the whole system froze and then power cycled. Not at all good as the Mrs is fuming if here xfactor viewing is disrupted..

First thought was maybe the card was over heating as its passively cooled but its only hitting 64c being used all day. So I checked the logs in event viewer and found loads of errors regarding an ati file around the time of the system spontaneously rebooting.

I have currently rolled back to catalyst 10.9 and so far this seemed to have cured the problem. Been running now for over 24 hours without a self induced reboot.

Anyone else having an issue with this card and latest drivers (10.11) and ati decoder?

Calling all hd5450 owners

Well its happend again!! system rebooted last night whilst watching the news. Again lots of errors in the ACEEventLog relating to the ati card around time of reboot. Looks like I havent cured this issue .

One of the errors mentioned a problem with denoise so I have disabled that now and also using latest drivers.

Is any one else using this card successfully? If so what drivers and settings are you using and how hot is it running?

Thinking of going back to my trusty hd2400. That never had these issues.
