Question Should latest Hauppauge drivers work on 350 with SageTV?

The above quote was a response in the Sage Recorder group concerning a TV output problem from the 350.

Should the latest (PVR250_17_21288.exe dated Oct 13, 2003) Hauppauge drivers work with Sage TV in a multi-turner (1 350 and 2 -250's) system?

I question this because I have twice tried to use the above version with very bad results. SageTV hung up my system while trying to initialize itself. The sage properties file was destroyed. Has anyone gotten these drivers to work in a multi-tuner system?
If so does TV out from the 350 card work?

I currently am using the 1.7.21177 drivers from shspvr which record fine but I no longer have tv output from the 350. This is Sage TV specific, the WinTV2000 does output thru the 350 even when getting the input from a 250 which I found interesting.

I guess third time is the charm, I have now installed the current Hauppauge drivers dated 10/10/2003 with version number 1.17.390.21283. These new drivers have not made any difference in the two problems I am seeing with mixed 350 and 2 250 cards.
Still no reliable output from the 350 and what appears to be an initialization issue with the 250 cards.

The procedure I used to update my 3 Hauppauge cards is:
unzip pvr250_inf file
run HCWCLEAR
uninstall the Intervideo Filter SDK
reboot
install driver for one card only
go into the system and disable the other two cards so only the one with the new driver is enabled.
run pvr250_17_21288 ( I am not sure what this does so I ran it for each card with only the 1 card enabled)
I then disabled the updated card and enabled a different card.
updated the driver and run prv250_17_21288, repeat for all remaining cards
when all cards are updated reenable all cards
run hcwsmd04_21154 to reinstall Intervideo Filter SDK
run wintv2k40_21126 to reinstall Hauppauge applications.
reboot and start using SageTV again.
