Does the HVR-4400 work with SageTV?

Hi Guys,

I'm just about to buy two Hauppauge HVR-4400's. My problem is that I can't seem to find anything on the net with SageTV and the HVR-4400 mentioned in the same context.

I've googled and all I get is references to the AMD 4400 CPU, it's not mentioned here either

I have no doubt that the card will work with STV for Windows but i'd just like confirmation as the two cards will set me back nearly €250.

Thanks in advance

It looks like the HVR-4000 is listed but no 4400. If the 4400 is a newer model I would not be to worried I am sure it will gain support if it does not all ready. But I am no expert on these things and hopefully someone else will chime in.

Ack, this is a real stumper for me now.

Should I risk incompatibility and buy the two HVR-4400's? Or should I go along and buy these individual components to make up an equivalent system?

Terratec Cinergy DVB-S2 PCI HD x 2
Terratec Cinergy DVB-T x 2

I'm sure it wouldn't be too much of a risk as the HVR-4400 seems to be Hauppauge's flagship/most expensive tuner. It should work with STV, surprised it's not on any of the lists.

What would you guys do??

Thanks..

ALSO: Is it okat to include to identical devices on the same system or will STV give you an error?
