Guide Data
I just went back into the video source setup and wanted to add a QAM tuner back into the mix, and i cannot get Sage to pull guide data from any source. When i go through the tuner setup the screen which prompts for the zipcode allows me to enter my zipcode, and then I get no results back.
am I missing something? I did a quick search on the forums and didn't see anything off the bat.. I have done this many times before and actually had QAM cable data pop up without a problem. Thanks for any thoughts ~PiX64 |

See this FAQ, which also has a link to the firewall FAQ so you can check your firewall ports.
And, have you tried adding an EPG plugin such as one for XMLTV? If so, check the epg/epg_import_plugin property in your sage.properties file & try removing it. - Andy

It happened to me again. I went to try and mess around with QAM again, and now nothing.
When i go to add a new source and i get to the point where it asks me to put in my zipcode, i do. and then i get nothing back, i get a blank screen. I tried all suggestions above and none of them worked. I did notice when deleting some poropeties particularly the epg_plugin that there was a few entires in there for WFE... either way i removed them and still didn't work. I also followed the FAQ and that didn't help either. The only thing i didn't try, which I will admit i am a bit reluctant to try is to remove all my sources set one up with a different guide data, then re add...that just seems like it will cause me more headaches and possibly cause me to not get my tuners set back up... Any ideas? ~PiX64 |

If you had WFE installed look for this line:

Don't know if it matters but it is in the .properties by default.

So that sorta did the trick!
What i had to do is I actually had to disable the WFE plugin to get it to stop adding the link you mentioned to the epg_import_plugin. Once i disabled, all my guide data came back. This could be a defect in the WFE..ill pm the developer to them him know. Thanks for your help! ~PiX64 |
