guide data?

Is it possible that we only get guide data for those channels that we have enabled?

I'm finding this frustrating because I'm trying to add channels that I receive but which were not enabled by default. However, it seems that I can't see the preview window in the channel setup for those channels that Sage didn't default to enabled.

After a half hour, I still haven't gotten any guide data for the channels that were not enabled by default. Can I trigger a guide data update?

I think I can explain this one.... I was changing the channel setup from my client.

I'm not sure whether in v1.4 the client could edit channel setup, but it certainly can in v2. However, changes from the client were not triggering a refresh of the guide data. Also, I was not allowed to preview a channel that I was in the process of enabling in the channel setup window.

However, when I tried the same manouevres on the server, everything was fine: I could preview newly added channels in the channel setup window and the guide data was refreshed when I left the channel setup.

Bottom line: if we're supposed to be able to edit channel setup from the client, then it needs to spark a guide refresh and needs to be able to preview newly added channels.

BTW: it does seem like there are still some things to be worked out concerning which features the client gets... for instance, the client gives me the option of enabling the Server feature (which obviously it should not). I haven't tried setting it, though.
