My Movies Unreadable

I've got a bit of a problem. I've got My Movies installed. Using the latest beta release of MyMovies. However, when I go to My Movies > anything, I get some random white text on the screen (unreadable) and nothing. I can't see anything. If I hit back, Sage goes right back to the Videos menu.

This was working before. Had some issues with an update. But unable to get this back going again.

Help?

Yes, I know I need the log and a screenshot. I can't get to the machine now (being used by family). I'll get that a repost.

In the meantime, I've noticed that the movie clap board (icon at the top of the screen) has been showing for days and days. Normally that was shown just when the machine was updating. Not sure if that gives any insight as to the problem.

Here's a screen capture. I can't stop the sage service 'cause the family is watching TV on the extender now....

That is because you either are out of memory or because you haven't updated smm in a while and you used the blue theme. That theme has been removed and you need to delete the theme= property from the property file associated with that extender. Note it is the mymovies property file and not the default sage one.

As for the icon at the top since you probably had the blue theme I am going to also assume you are not runnin the current pre release of mymovies as per release notes please be sure you are running 3.18 pr3 or later

Cheers

I'm using MyMovies beta 3.18PR4 and this is not on an extender (it's on the main computer in the house).

I can change the properties, but where? Is this in sage.properties?

Also, I'm using "collection management". Should I be using one of the other software tools?

My log file is 3MB and can't upload.....should I check for something?

As per the wiki it states where to send the logs. The wiki will also tell you where you server and client mymovies property files are located. If you used the blue theme which it looks like you did then I guarantee that is the issue and log's won't help.

Send me the logs

the smm-api is located under the general plugins installed section.

I think I may have found some problem....

I don't see smm-api anywhere. I've uninstalled Sage MyMovies plugin and reinstalled. Seems to work, and I don't get any errors. But I still don't see the smm-api plugin anywhere.

Also, which log do you want?

Need no logs if it is working

the smm-api is under installed plugins-general (heading)

the ui wouldn't even show up if it wasn't installed.

There is no smm-api under installed plugins....

I saw it once before (before I was having problems), but now it's gone.

I've rebooted and restarted, but still, no smm-api plugin.

Are you changing the plugins you are viewing (ie at the top it says Genre,Full,UI,Theme etc)

you need to be on General. There is no way the UI mod is running without the smm-api installed unless sagetv's plugin system is broken (which I doubt it is)

I only have 3 things in "general"

Phoenix Core Services
SageMyMovies API
SageTV H2 Database

I just looked in the sage log file, and it says something about loading smm-api (no errors), but again, not in the list.....

What can I do?
