A bug? (or just possibly a programming oversight?)

When you record a program normally (click the record this program button) and then convert it, both the original and conversion show up in the recordings list.

BUT

If you record a program manually with Create Time Recording then convert that, the conversion does not show up in the recordings list. It is not cataloged.

No big deal. Just thought I would mention it.

My guess is that this is just an oversight. I am not even sure the last time I did a timed recording (and I am sure I have never converted a time recording)..... I think it is one of those things that no one has ever done that combination before (or have done it very minimally) that it has never even been reported. Feel free to be the (most likely) first to submit a bug on this!

Appreciate the reply, but nah... too easily worked around to be concerned about. Besides, I doubt they are going to go in and change the code for something (as you say) that is a minor oversight, so why waste the breath?

You'd be surprised. If it's a simple fix, it probably will be taken care of.
