On issue #5 I totally disagree - Sage is not in the remote business. I have 5 HD-200s and I never use the remotes so I don't want to be paying 1 cent for remotes from Sage. I use Harmony remotes and I am starting to use stuff like the Web clients and tiSageTV on the iPad if need be.

Well I wouldn't use the remotes either, but the harmony is not good enough for me. . .doesn't do things I refuse to live without.

Well yeah I can use an IPad, or my droid for that matter, but those things are not designed to be remotes and physical buttons are better for a lot of tasks. . .

I just think sage is actually doing a good job with hardware, and that would be something that could be cool. . .especially with the internet, audio, video all mixed in

to each his own. . but if they built something that had all the features I want, I'd gladly pay. . . Control of RF, IR, Bluetooth all required, Punch Throuch on any action button, Wii/Gyration style mouse and our swipe controls, emit haptic feed back and sound (so that I can hit a button and find the remote). . . Maybe i should just start designing it ;-)

Well, if you can get all that in a universal remote and sell it at a reasonable price, go for it...

1) Native Netflix (this seems to be pretty common)
2) Mobile Placeshifter (iOS/Android, WM7 maybe)

3) SageTV on a stick.
- A ready to go Linux and SageTV OS on a USB drive to get up and running with Sage in a matter of minutes. Be even better if there was some sort of RAID4 built in (like the WindowsHomeServer DE or Un-RAID tech). Or better yet, sell a ready to go, ready to expand Linux/SageTV system for around $500.

Have a look at my RecentlyWatched plugin. It does pretty much what you're looking for.

Thanks. Indeed, exactly what I would like.
Unfortunately I am still running SageMC as I can't cope with the standard interface.
Any chance I can call the RecentlyWatched menu from a SageMenu.xml?

Eric

I'm not all that familiar with SageMC but it should be possible. The RecentlyWatched plugin actually uses the malore menus but it sets the view to "Recent". All of the Malore views use the same menu with different variables set to indicate what should be displayed. To make it work you would have to set a global variable and then link to the malore menu. Can you do that with SageMC?

If you use the bundled AC3Filter for your decoding, you CAN get volume levelling.

I posted this somewhere else a few months back, but I'll just add it here too.

1- I think it was somewhere around v5-6 I was able to setup animated weather radar maps for my local area.

2 - The other thing was I setup traffic cams to just click on and there it was.

I can't remember how I did it, it was a while back but something I truly miss.

I would love an alphabet list a la sagemc for the v7 gui. We moved on from mc when 7 came out and getting through the library is cumbersome.

Yes. I think there is still a bug that sometimes causes the "back" navigation to go to the wrong screen but I never noticed it.
