Program guide and MVP

I still use a couple of MVP's. The latest 7.0.12 update has made the program guide near unusable with them. Is there a way to switch back to the old version? I am using the standard STV's. Have tried both V3, and V7. You cannot tell where you are in the guide anymore. I don't want to stop using them because they do a great job where I have them.

I was having the same problem. Here's what I did.

1) Setup -> Help -> View TV Categories .. Delete ALL categories (5 or 6).
2) Setup -> Plugins -> All available -> Themes -> install the MBdiamond theme
3) Here was thing that really helped.. on the MVP the yellow button at the bottom opens the options menu (I didn't know this).. then I changed the font and the amount of columns to my liking. I can actually use it now on my 18" from about 7' away.

Hope that helps.

BTW, I changed the columns and font for all of the menus.

Well that works a lot better. Not as good as it used to be but at least the guide is pretty much usable again.

The good old MVP lives to watch another show!!

I submitted a Bug report and this was the answer. It works perfectly..

"Thanks, this'll be fixed for the next build. For now you can set:

ui/allow_transparency_disabling_for_non_layered_clients=false

in your Sage.properties file to resolve the issue."
