HD Channel Preference?

I know there is a tuner preference, but is there a channel preference? For example, for Hell's Kitchen I would prefer record on channel 705 (HD), if available; otherwise, record channel 5 (SD).

The way to accomplish that is to just disable the SD channel on the tuners that also receive the HD channel.

What about something like CSI or NCIS or House??

for me specifically, I am tring to get 2 older seasons of NCIS. It reruns on a cable channel, that I only have in SD. OTA broadcast is HD. How would I tell sage to only record HD eps and not SD eps??

I currently have sage set for 1st run only. I then manually mark eps for recording as needed as they air.

You can restrict the favorite to just the CBS channel that is airing the shows in HD.
