Sage TV Preference Question

So I recently added a Hauppauge 1600 combo tuner to get the digital channels in my area. I am currently getting these channels through an antenna. Of the channels I am picking up, and get a signal of 82-88%, the video is a bit jerky.

I am currently running a 3.0 GHz P4, Sapphire Radeon 9600XT 128 mb card, and 2 gigs of RAM. I looked around and people were saying that they had HD channels running silky smooth at 2.8 GHz and on a Radeon 9550.

My question is that if my hardware isn't the problem, then do I need to change my Sage settings? I am currently running the Nvidia Video Codecs and VMR9.

Also, does SageTV support Clear QAM?

Edit** Thanks mkanet, I made a mistake when I typed in GeForce 9550, I meant the Radeon.

GeForce 9xxx series are not out yet. They will be in the next month or two.

SageTV supports Clear QAM.

I'm getting "Clear QAM" through WinTV, but not through SageTV with my Hauppauge 1600. I only get the digital channels through the antenna. What am I doing wrong?

I tried letting the card scan for channels and not giving it my Comcast channel lineup, but it finds zero channels. Is there a walkthrough somewhere for setting up QAM in SageTV?
