Sage 7 - Online services - feature request

During viewing of online material (Hulu/Netflix/youtube/etc) if I press the record button I am presented with a box stating that I need to wait until the content is completely donwloaded before recording...

This is not a great way to handle this. I end up continually trying until I get to the very end and try it in the last few seconds of a video.

Why can't Sage remember that I want to record the online content, stream it, and then self record it once it's done buffering? I shouldn't have to continually try to record it.

I agree. Short of that, it'd be cool if there'd be some sort of precent downloaded show up on the OSD.

Shameless plug.

The Malore Online Browser handles this better. It's not updated to work under V7 yet but I'm working on it...

I'm pretty sure recording Hulu/Netflix, etc. is against the TOS. And by pretty sure, I mean I know it is.

So what you're asking is kinda skirting on the edge of making it too easy to record something, the fact that Sage even lets you save the stream as it were could be considered by some to be allowing too much.

Having said that, not all online sites have that TOS, so this is a good idea, but I don't think Sage wants to be seen as supporting what could be considered piracy in some circles.

BTW, not trying to start a fight, just throwing my 2 cents in on why I don't think this will be supported... I could be wrong.
