Feature Request: Online Video Enhancements

I was just wondering if any thought had been given to developing a way to save online videos to the SageTV Recordings folders? Some of the video's have long downloads and when I skip out because the wait is too long, I come back to the room and the download and playback are done and I can't replay unless I re-download. That isn't very practical with an HD file that takes 20 minutes to download in full. That alone would be helpful but I would also like to see multiple downloads if possible.

Does anyone else have enhancement suggestions?

haha.. I have been thinking about that for putting together music videos off youtube/google video.

I like the ability to store them on my hd to save from downloads, but I don't really need that. I would prefer if sage could "bookmark" my favorite videos so I can view it later. Also have the ability to setup playlists where the next item on the list can start buffering before the currently playing item ends.

You can use this to record online videos to you computer then use the neilms webserver to import them to your recordings.

I'd also like to see an area where you could input your own feeds to show. I like the guide that they are producing, but there's always going to be something that someone wants to check on that's not in there. Even with YouTube videos, you might want to subscribe to a "channel", like you can in Miro. It's tough doing a search on the remote.
