SageTV HD Media Extender?

I have never seen this before, although I admit the store page for sage is a bit wonky.

How does this differ from the HD-200, SageTV HD Theater?

Is this an older model? A newer model?

That is the first HD extender they had, the HD100. Seems to be just an outdated page lying around...

Ah, I like its design better than the 200 lol. I like the idea of having controls on the front of the extender.

It appears to be an out of date page. The picture is of a HD100. If you click on but it now, no code or price appears. If you attempt to add it to your cart an error message comes up. How did you locate the page?

They are both called SageTV HD Media Extenders, the first one is the model number HD-100, and the current one is the smaller one, the HD-200. As with most products, the newer version is better. I have both and they both work well.

I have the hd200 as well. It just seems like removing the controls from the front is like a downgrade.

I only have an HD100 and would agree I like the looks of it better then the 200, but have never used my buttons ever.

You're going to jinx yourself as your remote goes missing or self destructs tomorrow.

I'll trade you straight up a working HD100 with buttons on the front for a new HD200...

I agree. I would rather give up my (never used) front buttons on my two HD100's, for the speed and abilities of the HD200. Now, I do like the looks of my HD100's better (they seem to fit my media cabinets better), so maybe a hybrid of the look of the HD100 with the power of the HD200 (or even more power than the HD200).

I assume though that there is a considerable cost reduction for shipping of the HD200's (more units per pallet for bulk shipping) and therefore we should expect the mythical HD300 to be roughly the same size.
