I've had a bad run with Seagate drives in the past, but I'm trying to only put 2tb drives in my WHS. For a 7200rpm drive that is a great price.

the 7200.11's DID have a firmware issue, that could brick the drive. however, it was fixed in manufacturing in Jan'09, so any drives after that do not have the defect... Also, if you DO have a drive that was from before teh manufacturing fix, and it HASN'T been bricked, you can update teh firmware and it'd be fine. Basically, at this point, the firmware problem has basically resulted in a bad name for those drives, with not real current risk, which then results in a killer price.. win win win I say..
