Deal alert 2x1.5TB Seagate HDD @ dell.com $99ea

Thats $199 total or $99ea with free shipping! Thats under 7 cents a GB!

Use coupon code: P0HD43$HB$DLDR

I just bought a pair, and thought about buying 2 pair. I'm really low on recording drive space.

I bought one of the Seagate 1.5 TB drives, and it works great. There was a firmware issue on the Seagate 1.5 TB drive, so check the Seagate web site to make sure your firmware level is OK. I checked my Seagate 1.0 TB and 1.5 TB drives and their firmware levels were fine.

Thanks for the heads up. I just ordered a pair. They even have free shipping to Hawaii.

Aloha,
Mike

Nice deal, I've been waiting for something like this since I'm collecting parts for a new server. (Free 2 day shipping is an added bonus.) 2 weeks ago I picked up a PC Power and Cooling "Silencer 750" for $75.00.

Now if Intel would only run a big sale

around 7:40am this morning the coupon was ok... around 10am no longer good. I chatted with a DELL representative and was able to get this drive for $233.19.

That is a good deal but I would beware if this is the same one they are selling at Newegg. I bought one and it failed SMART tests after just over 30 days (outside return window of course). I then had to send it in at my expense to get a refurbished replacement. There are a number of similar complaints at Newegg.
