Comskip stopped skipping
I have been using comskip monitor for a few years, and it has been working great. Last week it stopped skipping commercials. It creates the files(.edl,.vprj) but it doesn't pick up the commercials. I took an older file I .mpg file I had and deleted the .edl, and .vprj files, and it created new ones and they had the commercials tagged, The only thing I did to the machine in the last week was to add the metadata plugin. Anyone have any ideas what this could be?

Have you added HD tuners recently and are trying to process those? Which version of Comskip are you using and what type of tuners do you have?

I found out what was happening. I have 2 pvr150 tuners. 1 has input from the cable box, and the others input is directly from the cable, bypassing the box.
The output from the cable box is missing the Logo. and comskip does not find commercials. The output directly from the cable has the Logo, and comskip processes the commercials correctly. I have been testing this with Fox. I am using the default Ini file for comskip, and have never modified it. Does anyone know which settings could be modified that would pick up the commercials without Logos?

I don't understand why the pictures would be different. You only have one signal going to the box. Both pictures, regardless of the output should have a logo. Are you sure the one picture isn't so overscanned that the logo is off-screen? The logo isn't the only feature that determines a commercial so you should still be getting commercial breaks.
