Couple HD-Homerun questions

Can I only use the HD-Homerun with direct cable input, Or is there a way to put a cable box to it? If not, Does anyone know of a network tuner that will alow for either cable box or direct cable?

HD Homerun is a direct to cable connection. Either to an ATSC antenna or cable from cable company. From cable company it will only pick up Clear QAM stations, not all cable stations. Another type way would be a HD-PVR will connect to your component out on your cable box and with IR blaster will change the channel on STB and record all channels in up to HD resolution.

And the HD-PVR is USB connected, not Network connected.
