time off, unable to disable sagetv time sync

I have noticed over the past several months my recordings have slowly drifted back by about 2 mins now. causing me to see stuff I shouldnt see in the previous program, and lose the tail end of what I intended to record.


I went in to try to manually update my SageTV server, (xp pro) but it will not let me disable the "sync system clock with sagetv server" option. when I click the enable button with my mouse (or my remote) it will not toggle or bring up an option box.


I sync'd manually with the windows time update and it indeed put my system back where it belongs. But who knows for how long if I cant update that sage option.


Ideas?

I'm having the same problem. The SageTV clock is now off by 5 minutes for me and the detailed setup screen won't let me disable the automatic synch. The best solution would be for Sage to synch their server with the correct time.

Contact support if you are using a non-modified default STV & you can't change the option to sync the system clock with the SageTV server.

However, I can tell that the SageTV server's time is correct because it just synced on my system and the time was correct.
