DirecTV + SageTV time sync
On my system SageTV's clock is about 1.5 minutes faster than DTV's clock on my DTV receiver, and as a result recordings start early and end early. I know there are per-recording time offsets, but what about a general time offset for all recordings? Or a way to sync the PC to DirecTV's clock?

There is no global setting to pad or offset all recordings.
It sounds like DirecTV is operating at a different relative time. You could turn off SageTV's sync with the SageTV server in Detailed Setup -> General. If you ran some utility to sync with atomic time (which I believe the SageTV EPG server does anyway), you 'll probably find that it still disagrees with DirecTV time. You could manually set your PC time to match DirecTV time, but are all shows on every channel playing according to DirecTV time? If not, you may be better off with atomic time. And, if you set it manually, you'll have to remember to keep updating it. - Andy
