Clear QAM - Louisville KY Insight Communications

Can anyone here tell me if Insight Communications uses Clear QAM for the local HD channels? (I'm in Louisville KY)

Thanks,
Brian

Best source would be to check SiliconDust's web site. They have a database (auto-submitted by their software) that contains a list of available channels for different providers. Assuming there is someone else in your market with an HDHomeRun, it will have the answer for you. I just did a quick glance, and it looks limited. (WHASDT in 1080i; WMYODT, WDRBDT, and WKLEDT in 720p, everything else is 480i/p)

If you could get an antenna up, it'd get you much better selection...

Hi Brian
I'm not in Louisville but Northen KY (Covington) and Insight does send the local's through in clearqam. I have a couple of HDHR's that are pulling in the QAM stream for locals and I only subscribe to their broadband plan.

Hey there. I'm in Louisville too!!! I use Dish for TV though, so I can't help with your question. There is also a good thread over at AVS forum for Local questions - Here's the link.

Yes. Without a box there are 20 of them. I'm going from the wall to a tv tuner card in a PC...
