Eventghost/SageMC

I installed Eventghost for the first time to play around with keyboard and mouse emulation with my remote. When sage is minimized every thing with emulation seems to work fine. When I maximize sage to watch TV the remote input into sage goes nuts and sage seems to get all messed up. Just curious if anyone knows what might be going on. I'm thinking it might have to do with the USB-UIRT trying to work with Eventghost and Sage at the same time.

Eventghost works very well with sagemc. Make sure that any other programs that eventghost is configured to controlled are disabled. They can cause problems.

How do you have the buttons on your remote mapped? As mentioned above, you have to enable exclusive mode when sage is the front program.

When you are using eventghost, you need to disable support for the USB-UIRT or any other ir input (such as through a Hauppage card) inside SageTV. If you don't, SageTV will recieve multiple inputs from a single key press on the remote.

You can assign commands to specific windows or apps.

If you are using the plug-in that came with it you may also need to tell it if you have the server or the client. I believe it send the commands to a specific window and they are different between Client and Server.
