DVD Groupings and Unrecognized Movies

I am running the latest version of SageMC and I had previously had all of my catalouged DVD movies grouped e.g. DVD Movies, Simpsons, Family Guy, The Office etc. The last time I loaded up though all of these groupings were gone and everything has gone into the unassigned group with the exception of a few moves. I tried restoring settings from a backup of the settings but this did not fix the issue.

Also, there are quite a few of my movies that aren't being recognized in the program. I can see them on the hard drive and play them in another program fine but SageMC doesn't think they exist. It isn't the video paths... Sage picks up other videos under the same folder structure and I have tried refreshing but no dice.

Any help or suggestions would be great!! Thanks in advance.

Kypp

sounds like the oft discussed BMT 3.1 / SageMC filesystem grouping bug.

You need to upgrade SageMC to the latest prerelease (6.3.9b_pre21) and phoenix.api v1.44 or later)

I did all of this and it shows that I now have the latest version of SageMC but the Pheonix Jar version doesn't show up???

There is a label for it in the system menu but there is nothing next to it saying what version is running?

Since I updated I can't get my fanart to work at all (it looks like there is a new way of doing fanart now).

Please help.

Thanks

look in SageTV\SageTV\Jars. Make sure phoenix.jar is there (and there are not duplicates). Copy (from the SageMC latest prerelease post) the phoenix jar from there and into the Jars folder.

Also, make sure you completely shut down the sage service, and restart it, so it can pick up the new .JAR file.

The Pheonix jar file is there and there are no duplicates. I have shut everything down and restarted but it still shows nothing on the settings menu next to the current jar version???

I can go back to the last version of MC that the Fanart worked in but then I get the bug that loses all of my grouping information every so often and it is annoying to have to re-do all of that.

Seem like this should be much simpler than it is but I can't figure out what I am doing wrong?

Okay that is different then what fuzzy and razor where talking about. There may be a problem in the grouping in the latest version, I know the custom sagemc groups where old and don't know if Mike plans on still supporting those or not he will have to comment.

You could use SMW and custom tagging to build your own groups.
