Sage not recognizing ripped DVDs

I have close to 500 DVDs that I have ripped myself on my Sage server. I would say that I have about 20 DVDs that Sage simply will not recognize. When I browse to them in Sage, instead of being able to click on Play, it brings up a list of the .VOB files, and I have to play each VOB file separately if I want to play the DVD. Is there anyway to fix or rebuild these DVDs so that Sage can recognize/play them properly? I have always used AnyDVD or RipItForMe to rip my DVDs and it seems to be completely random which ones Sage does not want to recognize.

I used to convert the DVD VOB files into one large mpeg2 file with VideoReDo before I just rip the DVDs with AnyDVD or DVDFab6. Maybe converting the VOB files into one large mpeg2 file would work for those 20 DVDs.

Details:
Rip the DVD to your hard drive. Open the each VOB file with VideoReDo 'Quickfix', saving to a mpeg2 file. Quickfix is used to clean up any video file problems. Sometimes it finds a problem with file and fixes it. I then combine each mpeg segment into one large segment with VideoReDo. The large mpeg2 file plays fine with SageTV.

This process won't work if they are doing strange things, like mixing 4x3 and 16x9 in the VOB files.

I was hoping to keep the file structure of the DVD intact to match the rest of my collection.

I have a similar problem with 3 movies - The Line, Transformers (the revenge) and The Proposal. I've ripped the Transformer movie multiple times but same thing every time. Screen goes blank and no sound.

My Sage doesn't even recognize the files as a DVD. When I go to the directory, instead of playing, it just shows a list of the VOB files.

I found a fix to the problem. I ran the unrecognizable DVD through FixVTS and it took care of the problem.

If I remember right, the only thing I checked was to process the entire DVD. I then selected one of the VOB files and it did its thing.
