Can't add back channel once unselected

Submitted this to Sage tech support, but figured I'd see if anyone else has the answer. Thanks!

In channel lineup selection for the HD-PVR, if I remove a channel and the select done, the channel is removed properly from th guide. However, it becomes impossible to add it back. I can go and select it again just fine in channel setup (I get the green circle again when selected), but it won't show up in the guide. Note that the green circle remains showing the channel as selected whenever I return to channel lineup; I just can't get the darn channel to show in the guide!

I can also preview the channel fine in channel setup by the way.

This requires a guide update and sometimes I notice that the guide will not update right away if a channel is enabled eventually it will. I usually force a guide update using the webserver.

If it is enabled in Channel Setup, it should be listed somewhere in the Program Guide. Is it listed under the channel number for the same station on another tuner? (pages 47-48 in the PDF manual) Try sorting the guide by station name.

No, enabling a channel in Channel Setup should cause the channel to be listed in the guide, even if it lists "No Data" until EPG data is retrieved. And, enabling or disabling a channel forces an EPG update & is all the webserver does in its option to force an EPG update, as far as I recall.

Hmmmm...

I sorted by station name as you suggested and now CBS and ABC are listed under WBBMDT ch. 74 and KTTVDT ch. 80. I'm not sure if those channels were listed in the program guide before or not, but both say "NFL Football" for programming which is what they should be.

However, my dish receiver doesn't appear to be actually getting these channels and sends me to 72 and 81 instead, which definitely do not have football on.

Also not sure if 74 and 80 are supposed to be the HD or maybe were duplicate SD channels.

Maybe CBS and ABC channels have changed somehow? I thought they'd applied for moving from VHF to UHF (or at least one had), but I could be barking 100% up the wrong tree now.

Well, I have to some yard work before I can get back to this, but thanks for the suggestions and I'll get back to it soon and see what else I can figure out.

Thanks,
-Chris

Edit: I went downstairs and viewed directly from the Dish receivers. Nothing had changed with the channel lineups (not that I expected it to since I can preview channels CBS 2 and ABC 7 perfectly from the channel lineup selection screen.

Also confirmed I don't get channels 74 and 80 as listed in the program guide.

I guess KTTVDT is an LA channel. ABC Chicago should be WLSDT.

Ok, here's the deal I think:

For some reason, my logical channels 2 and 7 were remapping to physical channels 73 and 74, which now show up in the downloaded Dish Chicago lineup. Why, I have no idea since Dish has no channels 73 or 74 as far as I can tell (switched to "all channels" in program guide filter, and obviously de-selected 73 and 74 from my lineup).

So I just remapped the channels back to physical 2 and 7, so all is well (actually I'm missing subchannel 7-2, but who cares).

There seems to be an issue with the Dish lineup data.

I'm guessing this was just a big coincidence that my just happening to remove and then add those channels back in the guide at the same time the EPG issue occurred.
