Sudden EPG issue

Folks,

Does anyone have an intermitent problem with sizeable gaps in their Sage EPG listings?

Seemngly all of a sudden I'm finding that half my channels are showing 'no data' yet this is inconsistent.

For example, last night ABC HD plus Nine, Seven and Ten were blank yet SBS, Go and One weren't however it almost appears the reverse today; only Seven HD has been consistently failing to retrieve program details.

Any ideas out there?

EPG data is only updated for a channel when that channel or one on its network is tuned in.

That said, both nine and 7 have undergone some significant changes lately, and perhaps all you need to do is clear your channels and do a full channel search. That's what i had to do when 7 changed its channel names

Thanks - yes, the new 7TWO channel was to blame with a renaming of the EPG feeds too. So I've taken the opportunity to trial IceTV and hopefully there'll be a subscriber offer soon as the 100AUD is steep given the Interactive functionality is incompatible with Sage

You could subscribe to TV guide for less. but then i doubt that would fit in your CD-ROM drive

If - when - the FTA guide returns to normal I'll most likely bin IceTV. Maybe see how things are in a month as I'll be clean installing a new server anyhow.
