How to use station ID
I now received station IDs from Sage Info. What do I do with them?
I went to "add new station to line up", entered WTVJ and next I entered 1520 the channel number I wanted. The first time I did that, the system came up with "Enter ID, skip if not known". This time this did not come up. How can I get the station ID into the system? Thank you,

I don't know if there is an easier way here is one way:
Go to http://tvlistings.zap2it.com/ Click Change My Location Enter your zip (I used 33139 for Miami) Select you provider - I selected Comcast Miami Metro It should now show a list of your channels. Hover your icon over the station you want and it will show a web link with part of it being ?stnNum=11916. 11916 is the channel num for WTVJ But I would love to find an easier way as well!

And, if this happens to be an OTA-only channel, you are better off NOT entering a zap2it station ID so that it can at least get EPG data from the broadcast stream instead of nothing. - Andy

Thanks OPUS and Wayner
Thanks OPUS and Wayner for your help.
Here is what I ended up doing: My Sage system is running on a system called TapeItAll (TIA) which uses its own channel numbers to link to the desired channel and moving my C-Band dish. I didn't want to modify TIA (even so I know how), so I was stuck with using channel 1505 for my WPLG station. That would have worked great once I knew the station ID number, except, Sage would no longer give me the option to enter the ID number as it does when you initially add the station. There seems to be no way to actually delete that station from within Sage. So I decided to use a totally new station name and gave it the name ABC East. Next under channel number I entered 1505 and now it came up with the option to enter the station ID. Once I did that, ABC East now has the proper EPG data. I repeated the same thing for the other station, but named it NBC East. All that, because Zap2It does not have those stations listed by name.

Andy - why is the method for deleting a channel rather convoluted as described on the bottom of page 170 of the manual - why not just have a delete remapped channel button somewhere?

Apparently this option is not available in version 5 and not in an earlier version of the version 6 manual. I am sticking with version 5 because 6 caused me a number of problems I cannot remember right now.

As far as deleting a channel, are you referring to Remap and Reset to Default channel? If so, that does not actually remove it, because of what I explained in my previous message.
