Say, dumb question - all my encoders have merit=0. Does that matter? Can I change them safely? I do have some ATSC encoders I would prefer to use first as they are newer and better at pulling signals than others.

Thanks for any info.

I would prefer to use some ATSC OTA tuners before others as they are more sensitive. All encoders show merit=0. Can I alter those or not? Or am I looking at the wrong part of the properties file?

Thanks for any help.

Yes that is the correct property. All encoders have a merit of 0 by default. Increase the value to increase the priority of that tuner. Make sure you stop sage first before editing the properties file.

Aloha,
Mike

You could just put all your tuners ATSC=1 and NTSC=0.
