At the end of watching a livetv program, the program stops (and sometimes repeats the last 30 seconds or so of the ending).
It does not move on to the next show as expected. In other words, you can not just keep watching a livetv channel continously from one program to another. I am running sage 6.6.2 and SageTV3.xml version 2009072401 I rolled back to older versions and it turns out this was also a problem before -- I guess somehow I never noticed it all this time. Anyone have a fix please? Last edited by sflamm; 09-13-2009 at 09:57 PM. |

Anybody?
Somebody must have the same issue. A friend of mine told me his machine does the same. Last edited by sflamm; 09-14-2009 at 09:58 PM. |

Solved
I solved the mystery. For anyone who might have the same problem:
Go to: MyMenu->Setttings->SageTV Setup->Detailed Setup->Customize->Always Tune Channel Set "Always Tune Channel" to "No" Voila, it now moves seamlessly between show in LiveTV. In case youre wondering, my tuners are Silicondust HDHRs. Last edited by sflamm; 09-14-2009 at 11:11 PM. |

If you have the time, would you change that setting back, then get debug logs from when this occurs? That sure sounds like a strange one to me & perhaps SageTV would see something in the logs. Thanks.

Re-enabled "always tune channel"
Ran again with debug. Problem occurred again. LiveTV watched on SageTV server. Not sure why it created a log file for the sagetvclient as well. Attached is log file. |

There doesn't seem to be a live TV transition in the log and it also shows you are using SageMC, not the default STV.

That was the output when it stopped at the TV boundary. I can try to create another log...
Yes, I was using SageMC. However, the problem seemed to exist in both identically. I will run it again, create another log, using the default STV. |
