Watching paused LiveTV problem.

I'll try my best to explain this. If I am watching LiveTV and pause it for a few minutes, then resume watching...when the show is over, the file is deleted and instead of seeing the last few minutes of the show, the next show on the channel takes over. Anyone know why this may be happening?

My wife is complaining if a slightly different problem that occurs also when pausing live TV. She'll pause TV, go do something for a few minutes and when she resumes, SageTV skips to the beginning of the buffer instead of resuming where it was paused. Then she's forced to fast forward.

This is something new that was introduced recently in SageTV. She had no problems before pausing live TV.

Guests are becoming annoyed with me, is there anyone that knows how to fix this?

It should play all the way to the end of the current recording before continuing to the next show. There will be a blip in between the shows as the recording switches from one show to the next, depending on how long it takes to do that with your tuner. You can prevent live TV recordings from being deleted immediately via Detailed Setup -> Customize -> Delete Live TV files when not using Intelligent Recordings. More info about that option is in the Detailed Setup section of Chapter 5 in the PDF manual.
