Saving Files when Watching LiveTV
Has anyone else noticed all of the recorded files saved when watching live tv without actually scheduling any recordings? After watching a hour or two of live TV I had over a dozen saved files.

I seem to get hours and hours of recorded programs on the same channel I didn't ask for. I assume it has something to do with the live tv buffer, and I assume they're on the last channel I was watching with livetv (I've only had the beta installed for a day), but I don't know how to stop these recordings from being made....

That gets just about every new user. That's the way Sage works, it records shows when watching LiveTV as opposed to the buffer approach used by other progs.

and to add that if space becomes an issue these files will automatically be deleted.

Although it is the way sage works it would be better, if they did not show up in the recordings section and only requested recordings show up

Or maybe separate it somehow... I like the idea that if I fall asleep during a show I was watching, I am able to go back and watch it.

I'm using SageClient with SageTV. I had recordings of the one channel all day even though the server was sleeping and the client was being turned off and on (and I don't have intelligent recording enabled). Something seems to be amiss.

Yeah, the server keeps kicking off recordings of the last channel watched or recorded when I bring the client out of sleep. It's out of control. Perhaps there is a problem between the client and the server in that the server may not be getting the message that it should stop recording when the client ceases to watch/preview live TV? Do I need to put the client to sleep before closing it? [Edit: no that still won't stop the server from recording. Nothing really seems to stop the server at this point.]
