Favorite Not Recording

Hi,

I am a new happy SageTV convert. Started with the first Tivo, then graduated to Microsoft Media Center and the extenders, now I’ve found heaven with SageTV and the Sage Extenders.

I have been having a problem with a favorite I have set for PGA Tour Golf. It is only recording the first round/show. I have debugged this issue as best as I know how at this point. Here's what I have verified.

1. The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th rounds are showing up with a white boarder in the EPG so they are recognized as favorites.

2. The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th rounds are not showing up as watched or not liked.

3. The showID is unique for each show and showing up as a unique episode.

4. The title of each round/show is unqiue -

Thursday 11:00 AM PGA Tour Golf - “Wyndam Championship, First Round”
Friday 11:00 AM PGA Tour Golf - “Wyndam Championship, Second Round”

The same thing happened last weekend with the PGA championship.

Friday is within the 3 day window for favorites so the Second Round should be showing up in the recording schedule but it is not. Other favorites are showing up on Friday so this is unique to the PGA Tour favorite.

At this point I am stumped. Any help is much appreciated.

Depending on when the schedule was last updated, a Friday airing could easily be beyond the 3 day scheduling period. Other shows scheduled for Friday could be earlier in the day or scheduled due to a conflict for that show earlier in the week. I would wait to see what the schedule shows tomorrow.

Thanks for the quick response. The other favorites showing up Friday are later (11 pm)
than the missed favorite and are not the result of a conflict. And the same exact thing
happened last weekend on Fri, Sat and Sun so I do think this is a bug.

I will report back tomorrow as you suggest.

Andy,
I think most recording systems could handle more than 3 days (I have mine set to 6) these days. Think we could get the default changed, or maybe even something in the install script that could automagicly set the correct look ahead?

No need to wait for tomorrow. As of tonight the 2nd round of PGA showed up on the recording schedule for Friday. You know your stuff. Thanks for the advice.

Btw, before converting to Sage I read a lot of posts here. The thing that really jumped out was that apparently the interface was challenged. Having used it for a few weeks now I have to say I don't agree. I love the interface. It's very efficient and quite fast. And I love the way it can be tweaked with various extensions. So much better than MCE I really can't believe it. And the HD200 makes the MCE extenders look primitive in comparison.
