Problems with DVB-X (mostly S)

Over the past year I have slowly been replacing my analog tuners with digital ones. First a dvb-t tuner for fta channels, then a dvb-s tuner for fta channels, then a FloppyDTV dvb-t to watch encrypted channels and finally a FloppyDTV dvb-s2.

It seems that the more digital tuners I install, the more problems I get. Well, actually it's just one problem and it is that sometimes it seems like my tuners can't tune to a channel. I get a 'no signal' box and nothing gets recorded. A few hours later that same tuner will record a show on the same channel or another channel without a problem! Also, switching to another channel shortly and then back often helps.

I see it mostly on my FloppyDTV S2 tuner that has a CAM to watch encrypted channels. But also a Hauppauge dvb-s fta tuner that I tried a couple of months ago failed more recordings than not.

When I had just one dvb-t tuner and one dvb-s tuner everything still worked fine, but when I add more tuners I get problems. The tuners that worked perfectly before now start having problems, like the drivers are interfering or something....
I have tried all different driver versions for my cards and even changed the lnb on my dish, but the problem keeps occurring.

I discussed this issue with support a while ago, but nothing came out of it, so I was wondering af anyone on the forum has got some ideas.

TIA

I can share my experiece as well.

I have a few DVB tuners. 2 TT 1300 DVB-T PCI tuners, 1 TT S3200 PCI tuner, 1 TT 3650 USB tuner and 1 firedtv S2 tuner.

I consistently get issues with the s3200 tuner when using the CAM and with the firedtv S2 tuner which seems to lockup after 48 to 72 hours of continuous use requiring a cold start.

The S3200 issue is known and has to do with the CAM module while I also suspect that the firedtv issue is either related with the firmware or firewire driver.

The reliable ones are the 3650(DVB-S2) tuner and the DVB-T tuners.
