Question for all SageTV - Hauppauge - Starchoice / Shaw subscribers

So here's the deal:

There are three Starchoice satellite receivers in my house.
All three use UHF remote controls.
All three receiver / remote pairs need a different address, or they will change channels on all receivers that use the corresponding remote address code, either 0000, 0001 or 0002.
So those are all set differently and work great.

Introduce Hauppauge PVR-150 tuners and SageTV computers.
Note I said "tuners", not "tuner". I have two PVR-150's, and want to control two receivers independantly with Hauppauge PVR-150's / IR Blasters.

And here's the problem: The Hauppauge PVR-150 tuners only appear to emit a remote address of 0000 to the IR Blaster (0001 or 0002 don't respond). The Hauppauge IR Blaster flashes away, but any receiver NOT set to 0000 fails to take commands from the IR Blaster.

Question: has anyone found a way to reprogram the Hauppauge code so that you can make the Hauppauge IR Blaster talk to satellite receivers that use an address OTHER than 0000?

Otherwise, I can only use one Hauppauge tuner in the entire house.

help . . .

Save yourself the time and headache and just get yourself a USB-UIRT device. I'm basically doing the same thing you are: three receivers sitting in my office all side by side, each on a different remote code. I have one USB-UIRT that controls all three receivers happily. No problems controlling the receivers since day one. I've never even tried to use the Hauppage IR blasters. You can teach the uirt each set of remote codes, which is what I had to do, but it's pretty straight forward. I assume the Hauppauge blaster comes with a set of predefined remote codes to choose from? If so, it sounds like you won't be able to get it to blast for the other remote codes you need. Trust me, go with the uirt, teach it the remote codes you need it to blast then forget about it.
