Channel Lineups
Can someone explain to me the difference between "Local Broadcast" and "Digital Broadcast"? Also I'm confused as to why "analogue broadcast" would still be a choice.
I'm using "Local Broadcast" to capture OTA but I've had some problems with the line up getting messed up some how and I experimented with using both lineups. With the Digital Broadcast, I got the same programing showing up under several different channel assignments. For instance the programing on 11-1 was also on 27-2 and 27-3. also there was a channel 9-1 there that was showing the same programming of some of the other stations. When I rescanned everything back to the Local Broadcast, The base channel numbers showed up and I was able to tune them just like I did when I still had analog cards in the system. As an example, I was now tuning the same channel on 8 and 8-1 with only digital tuners. Channel 9-1 and maybe a couple others weren't there anymore. Basically, now that analog is gone, I don't understand why there isn't just one lineup. Any clarification is appreciated. Thanks, Mike |
