Adjusting channel lineups

Hopefully a quick question...

I have two DirecTV satellite STBs connected to my Sage system. For some reason, 1 of them does not receive a couple of the channels properly (such as the new Big Ten network). The 2nd box receives them fine. (This is not a Sage issue... it's an issue with my DTV receiver).

Since they are both DirecTV, they want to use the same channel lineup. Is there a way I can edit a file somewhere so that only 1 tuner receives all channels (including those couple channels) and the other one doesn't (so I know it always records those channels on the receiver that works properly)? I have been looking but I can't figure it out.

Thanks!

Yes, but only if one of the recievers lives in another zip code.

You probably need to adjust your dish, sounds like one LNB is good and the other is almost.

I have 4 tuners(2 STBs and a dual-tuner DirecTiVo (replacing it with Sage)). 3 of the tuners receive these channels fine, just not 1 of the STBs. I have swapped cables (took off one that worked and plugged into STB), and I changed the multiplexor. My signal strength is very good (95 or higher).

My guess is it's a bad tuner in that STB... and I should just replace it. I was hoping I could work around it for a while but doesn't look like it.

Thanks

I was being a smartass, the work around is talling SageTV the odd ball source is in a near zip code. That way it will have the same channel sbut be a seperate lineup so you can kill the bad channels.
