No Signal w/Windows 7 and SageTV 6.6

Still getting the 'No Signal' issue with Sage 6.6 and Windows 7. Replaced the tssplitter.ax file in the common directory - it's still not working.

BeyondTV is working fine for me in Windows 7 and I'm able to pull in all the local national channels in HD (using a Hauppauge 1600 card) but I'd really prefer to use SageTV.

Any ideas?

Have you turned of the BeyondTV service before you setup Sage? You can not share a tuner at the same time.

Yes, I shut down BeyonTV and made sure the service does not start up with Windows using msconfig.exe

Did the previous beta (6.5.20) version work? I used to have problems with Win7 and OTA as well, but it got fixed some time ago (don't know exactly how and when...).
6.6 OTA works fine for me (under Win7 x64) using the latest tsplitter.

Yep, copied over that new tsplitter file into the common directory. Still no go - getting no signal.

Is this a playback or a recording problem?

Do you just not get a preview when you try to setup the tuner in Sage? If so try to select a channel you know you can get manually. Then try to record a small clip and see if you get a usable file.

Fresh Install of Windows 7 x64/SageTV - still no signal

Just installed Win7 RTM and newest version of Sage about an hour ago. I have a Hauppauge HVR1600 that I use to tune in HD OTA.

I am still unable to tune in any OTA channel with Sage. Tried BeyondTV, and I can tune in/record all the local (ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS) channels in HD.

Tried replacing the TDsplitter.ax file. Still no go.

I'd very much prefer to use SageTV though...What's the issue here?

Some have had luck with W7 and others haven't. I am not aware of anyone using a W7 box as a recording device and it working (only client machines). W7 isn't even out yet, so expecting software to work with it almost 3 months before it is due to release might be where you went wrong.

I've been using Win7 RC (32bit) for my Sage Server for about a month now. I had trouble a few months ago when I tried it with "no signal" for OTA tuning. I built a new machine, PhenomII x2 (turned into a quad-core) and ordered AverTVHD duet tuner card and have been recording with a dual tuner from an antenna ever since. I have pulled my hair out trying to get Qam tuning with NO luck. I don't have many qam channels anyway so it doesn't matter too much--just trying to future proof if more qam is available.

Not really sure why it started working. I am using the LATEST Sage build (6.6.2) and HD200 for viewing.

I'm using Windows 7 RTM Home Premium x64 on my Sage server without any problems. In fact under Vista Ultimate x64 the service frequently used to stall on resume from sleep (almost certainly nothing to do with Sage itself) and now it works properly all the time, so I'm very happy.

Windows 7 is so similar to Vista that Microsoft have said that most hardware drivers shouldn't need any changes. I haven't needed to update any of mine, but as is often the case, experiences vary.

I have not had any luck with QAM in windows 7 32 or 64.
Sage and Wintv7 finds no channels.
Signal shows 0 in the Hauppauge uttility.
It used to work with vista.

I was able to fix the "No Signal" problem in Windows 7 64bit by replacing the microsoft decoder as described here:

Did not work.
Is there something else that you did?
What version drivers are you using?
Any particular order you installed them and sage and the fix?
Do you have HDPVR as well?
