HD Homerun Frustration

I am having a problem with my Sage Server (WinXP) with a blank screen with my HDHR tuner so I decided to do a new install of SageTV with the most current install file v6.5.19rc. After the new install, I added my two HVR1600 Hauppauge cards into Sage with no problems. I then went to add the HDHR tuners 0 and1. They are listed in the Add Video Source menu and I selected one and proceeded to do a scan for OTA channels. No channels were found. Then I went into the HD Homerun software and after a scan, all of my channels are being received there with no problems viewing with VLC. For some reason Sage is not seeing the channels. All of my tuners are OTA with the same antenna. I have deleted all of the .scn files and the HDHR .frq files as suggested in the HDHR forums.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what I can do to solve it.
Thanks
Doug

Did you try doing a scan in SageTV after the scan in HDHR-land?
If not, I would try that. Also, do the scan in SageTV for both HDHR tuners.

Doug,

Whenever I update the HDHR drivers I:

1) First remove the source HDHR tuners from SAGETV
2) Exit out of SAGETV and shut down its service
3) Run the HDHR setup. Their new setup is very good. I use VLC as the preview channel application, not Windows Media Player.
4) After exiting out of HDHR's setup I restart SageTV and add the tuners back in and scan for channels (they are pulled from the .scn files I think)
5) I enable all of the stations I have access to on the HDHR
6) I exit SAGETV and reboot my system and check to make sure it's all working

This always works for me.

All ATSC scanning is now done in SageTV... no need to work in the HDHomeRun app, aside from telling it to assign those tuners to SageTV. Make sure you are using the latest drivers/firmware/software from SiliconDust as well as the latest Sage.

Thanks for all of your suggestions. I had tried all of these with no results. I finally found that it was a problem with the .NET install required for the HDHR software. Everything is working well now.
Thanks for all of your help!

Doug,
Please share the solution. I have a new install of Sage and a single Homerun. This is the third time my channels just went away. In the past multiple reboots have gotten me to the point that Sage finds channels (never has a problem finding the tuners on th network nor does the Homerun configuration software have a problem finding channels). This is not the case tonight as I am on my forth reboot.

Thanks,
Bill

I just un-installed / re-installed the .net software and that took care of my problem.
