Worth watching - CrankyGeeks#171
As the title suggests, episode 171 of CrankyGeeks (found in SageTV online content - Tech) is worth a watch.
DaveMatthews is a guest (boxee advisor) and they touch on the new hulu desktop app and boxee's saga to stream hulu. They also touch on netflix, DTV switchover, & some TiVo news. My take: Hulu's ultimately run by the networks & I'm simply giving up hope that SageTV will ever have official hulu streams. The new Hulu desktop app simply delivers a single content to the UI - oh gee, how forward thinking of them. On the other hand, the statement that "Boxee is an affiliate of Netflix" and the past history of Netflix integrated with commercial products leads me to believe that SageTV official support for Netflix is 'where it's at' @ the moment. It seams a logical progression for the HD200 & SageTV software.
