Organizing Recordings

Well I have had Sage up and running now for about a week with my HD PVR
and after some initial setup issues I am quite pleased. Now I am looking into
some fine tuning to make it purr along to my liking..

All my Sage recordings end up in one folder.
I used to have a TIVO, and I very much liked how it put the same
shows in their own folders.

Currently when I view my recordings they all just show up in the one
folder...

Is there an option somewhere that organizes this folder and places the same
shows in their respective folders??

Also I noticed an option for Video conversions.
How do I use this? Do I need to install a plugin?

Click the blue folder button at to the left of the recording list to choose how recordings are grouped on screen. (This doesn't actually create any file folders or move any files around on disk; it's just a way of organizing the displayed list.)

No, you don't need a plugin. Just click the Convert button on the recording options popup. (There are plugins to automate the conversion of new recordings, but you don't need them to perform conversions manually.)

Thank U for reply. Got it.

I have been streaming my recordings using Tversity to PS3's in my
house. I have 3 of them. I was hoping Sage might be able to break
them down into folders some way so as I browse on my PS3 I can
just go to a show's folder and play instead of scrolling through every
recording..

Maybe I'll just have to organize them manually.

Next to find a commercial removal tool..
