Deleting Orphaned recordings

I wonder if there is another way apart from going through my recording directories (which are spread over 4 drives) and comparing that with "sage recordings" and manually deleting the files that don't appear in sage's recordings?
Over the past 2 years I have upgraded and downgraded using backups, so there are a heap of files that are not in the wiz.bin.
I have 2TB of recordings which is hundreds of files spread over 4 drives, i'm hoping there is a tool/trick to getting rid of any recordings not in the wiz.bin.

If you aren't interested in keeping them, then try using the folder view in the video browser -- the only videos in recording dirs there should be the ones you are looking for.

Opus4, can I clarify that?
If I use the folder view in the video browser, even though there are hundreds of recordings there, it won't show recordings that are listed in the "SageTV Recordings" part of the menu?

I hope that is what you are saying!
can I do a multiple delete from that view?

The video browser in the default STV should only be displaying videos that are not considered to be recordings. You could check a few to verify, if you wish... the pop-up options dialog should not be offering to list future airings & the info screen should not include airing info like recordings have & will say "Video Detail" instead of "Recording Detail".

But, group deletion was not added for folder view.
