What is the most stable video and audio codec combination ?
I've been having trouble with SageTV lately where I keep locking it up. I think the problem is the codecs. I'm using freely available codecs. Is there a "best combination" to use that will prevent crashing ?
Sometimes I get the swirl for 15 seconds when trying to call up the guide, sometimes I don't. Sometimes it freezes and sometimes it doesn't. I would like to stabilize the system. -S
