Issue with Audio on HD200

Hello,
I have a lot of DVD's ripped to my WHS using DVDFab Platinum without any issue. However, I have one DVD that I just ripped that does not play in the HD200. It plays on my client software but not my HD200. Once I found this out I noticed that via the DVDFab Platinum program, that the audio is PCM/2. This is the only audio track, so I have no other option. One DVD that works is AC3. I didn't check many others but of the few that I check, no others were PCM/2. Can the HD200 play PCM/2 audio? The info about the HD200 on the SageTV site says "Audio formats suppported: MP2, MP3, AAC, WMA, PCM, Vorbis (stereo only), AC3 (stereo down-mix/pass-through), FLAC, DTS (pass-through)", so I think that it should. Why does mine not play? Again, this is the first time this happened to me out of several hundred DVD's.

Any help is appreciated. This just so happens to be a DVD my wife wants to watch and we have no DVD players anymore, so I'm kind of in a bind.

Thank for any help,
Chuck

No one has any ideas? I did do a search but from what I read, it was unclear if it was supported or not.

I had a similiar problem with playback on my hd200 with bluray movies. It wasn't able to playback dts hd unless using the spdif connection which my TV doesn't have. So I had to convert the audio file to AC3 which worked fine.

Thanks for your reply. How would I convert it to AC3? I don't have that options, as far as I know of, in DVD Fab. Also, DVD Fab, doesn't have separate audio files. The only thing it outputs are .VOB, .BUP and .IFO files. If there is a way to convert the audio from those then I may have an option.

Thanks,
Chuck

I don't know if it will work as I use these programs for bluray movies. Google for eac3to and tsmuxer. I use the eac3to to convert the audio file to ac3. Then I use tsmuxer to merge the audio and video files together.

Thanks again,
I don't have an audio file, just VOB files. I will take a look at these options to see if they will work for my issue.

Thanks,
Chuck

I'm not sure if that will work for me or not. It seems a little over my head. Thanks anyway though.

So no one knows if the HD200 supports PCM/2 audio?

Any help is appreciated,
Chuck
