Audio Issue - 150 audio connection

I just decided to add a cable box to my configuration, as opposed to having just a straight cable line from the wall. I noticed the cable box had an S-video plug, so instead of the coaxial line, I decided to use that in conjunction with my Hauppauge 150 card. The problem is now my recordings, when played back, have no audio whatsoever, but the video recordings are great.

I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Do I need to pick up some sort of audio cable, or change a setting in the SageTV software so I can record and playback audio, or is the audio already there but not being fed to my sound card? I'm a newb so I'm kind of clueless as to whether this is a software setting issue or if I need to buy a new plug to be able to hear the audio from the recordings with my new setup. Thanks!

Can't find a good link (darn ratshack going "Monster"), but what you need is a stereo mini-to-RCA y cable, and connect the L/R (white/red) audio output of your cable box to the mini (1/8" stereo) input on the 150.

How about this one at Radio Schlock for $6 ? ..... Just posted this a couple weeks back in another thread with someone looking for the same thing.

I was thinking something more along the lines of this:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1051384698297

RS used to carry ones that were fine (the gold series ones) but now they've gone to "The Monster side"
