Remapping Woes - dissapearing channels

Hi,

I am having a problem with channels seemingly dissapearing.

What happens is if I find I have assigned a channel incorrectly, I try to reset it to its original uinlinked status by clearing it from the remap button. This seems to cause a channel to vanish.

For instance.. lets say I have 82-0-1. I map that to WZZZ and logical channel 2. I discover that I incorrectly mapped it and I want 82-0-8 to be WZZZ logical channel 2. I clear 82-0-1 in the remap channel and map 82-0-8 to WZZZ. However, now I can no longer find 82-0-1 in the list of channels to be mapped.

Am I making any sense? I am having a lot of trouble mapping the SD QAM channels. I am using cable because I can't find a ATSC market that includes all the channels I have as QAM, but maybe I will have to give that a try although from what I have read that will cause me to have incomplete EPG listings vs using digital cable?

I am mapping into the metrocast digital cable for Rochester, NH.
