1.4.7 - remapping channels

Hi!

I've just installed the new Beta and now I'm not able to remap stations to different channels.
It's no problem to navigate through SageTV with the arrow-keys, but when I try to remap channels, sage doesn't react to "number-keystrokes".

Has anybody encountered a similar problem and maybe a solution?

Hi,

to describe the problem a little bit more:

We run SageRecorder and SageTV on an AMD Athlon 2100 on Windows XP. We use Hauppauge PVR 250 as Encoder, with the newest drivers installed.

SageTV controls a Sky Digibox via Actisys IR

UK-EPG is being imported via XMLTV

Today we upgraded from 1.4.5 to 1.4.7.

After Upgrade we weren't able to remap channels to other channelnumbers, as we could not enter any numbers.

This only occured in this little remap window within channelsetup. Within every other component (e.g. SEARCH) we were able to enter numbers.

So we thought that during update something went wrong.

We deinstalled everything sage, deleted all sage dirs, rebootet and reinstalled sagerecorder and sagetv after that.

The problem still exists.

Well folks, I guess that is a big bug in Beta 1.4.7

On my american friend's SAGETV on WinXP, P4, PVR250, DirecTV via Serial Control remapping channels doesn't work either

He uses SageService to get his EPG-Data.

Its pretty much off-the-shelve, no extra plugins etc.

Oh I forgot to mention: Our SageTV-PVR runs with 4 PVR250 cards, the one of my friend runs with 3 pvr250

I also have had this problem on my computer. I was unable to get the XMLTV plugin working in the release version, so I upgraded to the beta. I am unable to modify the channel numbers within the Sage TV beta.

The behavior is as described previously. The remap dialog pops up but I am unable to input any numbers via the keyboard or remote.

For reference I am running WinXP Pro with a PVR250.

I was able to work around this by uninstalling the beta, re-installing the release, and remapping my channel numbers. I then re-installed the beta version with the xmltv plugin. The remapped channels were kept intact, and I am now able to use the guide sucessfully (after about 4 hours of work figuring this out).

By the way, it would be nice to have an easier way of remapping channel numbers. I had to change each of about 160 channels individually. If there would be some way to see the entire list and change them all at once it would save a lot of time.

This is fixed for the next build. Thanks for the feedback.
