Network drive -> Sage Server -> MVP Stuttering

I know this will be tough to diagnose but I am having some issues with palying back standard def video smoothly on an MVP. So any ideas or info appreciated.

The MVP unfortunatley is connected wirelessly to the router. The Video is on a wired NAS box and the Sage server is wired as well.

Some days the video works fine others it just stutters along through the show.

I'm curious if anyone knows how the video is relayed to the MVP? I am guessing that the sage server streams the video from the NAS to itself and then the server streams the video to the MVP.

At this point I'm just trying to locate where the issue might be occurring. The NAS box, the Sage Server or the wireless MVP.

I cannot seem to find any variables that point to why the system functions fine one day and then stutters the next.

Any ideas appreciated.

The MVP will work better if you wire it. Deadly slow and unreliable over wireless.

Yes I know... unfortunately its not an option. I guess I could always move the MVP to another room closer to the router but... that's not a main TV.

It's just odd how somedays it works fine .. other days its terrible.

Distance isn't the problem. Wireless G just can't handle HD, and barely handle SD.
