Problem Recording BigTen Network with R5000?
I have been experiencing this problem for a while and never quite narrowed it down to this.
Seems that whenever I schedule a recording of the BigTen Network (#439 on Dishnetwork), I end up with an unplayable file. Looking at the directory, it shows a file size that indicates the R5000 recorded the program. Further, looking at the R5000 event log shows that the program was recorded. But when I attempt to play the file with Sage, I get the spinning wheel and eventually nothing. To deepen the mystery, sometimes this issue seems to occur with The Golf Channel (#401). I have not determined for sure whether this only occurs after I have attempted to record the Big Ten Network, or is an intermittent problem with The Golf Channel. Do not seem to have an issue with any other programming I have recorded. Any ideas? Thanks. |

Bump...
Did I not phrase my question clear enough? Can I answer any questions? |
