Setting up dual HVR-1600s with external tuners

I just added a second HVR1600 to my setup. Hardware was found by XP and Sage no problem. I'm using the IR blaster that comes with the card and it controls the first external tuner just fine. I installed a second IR blaster from the new 1600 to my second tuner box and can't control the channel.

I couldn't find a post that said this definitive works or doesn't work. Some posts indicated that a USBIRT may be required.

Any advice?

This is covered in Appendix F of the SageTV PDF manual: the Hauppauge IR software only allows use of a single IR receiver and/or blaster.

You should consider something like the USB-UIRT or see if serial or firewire channel changing will work with your STB.
