Help needed with Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1950
Hi. Back on the forums because I bought a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1950 to replace my internal AverMedia M792 tv tuner.
Setup: Vista, SageTV 6.4.8 + HVR-1950 connected to a digital cable set-top box (TimeWarner Southern Manhattan Digital zip 10016) via coax. I am using the Hauppauge 45-button remote (already configured) in SageTV. Would someone let me know how to set up that USB tuner with SageTV? (I selected Digital TV Tuner, nothing shows up...when I press the "Device Input to Use..." button, SageTV doesn't ask me for the set-top box channel!) Thanks in advance! --Roy

U should probably use the composite input
If you are using the STB as passthrough and plugging into your HVR 1950 using composite or S Video, then you should select that as your input source. Digital source is only for using a direct 'coax' feed.
